Busan Eco Delta City was designated as a national smart city model along with the Sejong 5-1 Life Zone. Co-developed by K-water, Busan City, and the Busan Metropolitan Corporation, it is the first eco-friendly waterside complex city in Korea to which water-specific smart technology was applied, and is scheduled to begin design and construction in the first half of next year to receive residents from July 2021. For the project, K-water will create its own smart city business model that uses water management technology accumulated over 50 years to achieve the social values of fostering the water industry in connection with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and creating jobs.
