On June 8, a groundbreaking ceremony for the K-water Environment Energy Center was held at the site of Sihwa Multi-Techno Valley (located in Danwon-gu, Ansan). The center is being established to improve the atmospheric environment in Sihwa District by reducing odor and fine dust. K-water will invest a total of KRW 39 billion into the center to present a new model of an eco-friendly convergence business that recycles out-of-date waste activated carbon at a low cost and supplies it to businesses, improving the atmospheric environment and generating additional thermal energy.
