On February 3rd, a disaster safety evaluation meeting was held, targeting public institutions. through the safety evaluation interview, Hak-soo Lee, President of K-water, talked about K-water’s disaster management vision titled “Safe K-water.” As part of the detailed business plan, he remarked that “Nationwide water disaster prevention, safety management and the improvement of national water welfare will be this public corporation’s most important goals and pursuits for the next 5 decades. In this regard, we have a plan to promote a nationally-integrated water administration system based upon smart water management systems utilizing ICTs such as AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT (internet of things). Through this safety evaluation, we expect that the disaster management capabilities of K-water will be strengthened.
