On February 9, a ceremony took place for the agreement to promote the ‘Establishment of Sejong-si Smart Water City (SWC) Demonstration Project’. The ‘Smart Water City’ project consists of a next-generation intelligent water management service model that converges information and communication technology for all the processes ranging from the water supply sources to the faucet, in order to manage the amount and quality of the water in real time. Based on the results of the SWC project that was carried out in Paju-si, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, as well as Sejong-si and K-water, are cooperating to harmoniously develop a Korean-style Smart City.
