K-water Storywater for a happier worldBusiness cooperation agreement on hydrometeorology, solving the national water problemOn January 11, K-water, the Korea Meteorological Administration, and the Korea Rural Community Corporation signed an agreement for joint business cooperation on hydrometeorology. The three organizations will work together to solve the national water problems and drought and floods caused by climate change through joint cooperation and research on hydrometeorology. The agreement will strengthen the cooperation between the three organizations to better respond to weather and water management systems including the drought information service. Romantic winter getaway to Pyeongtaekho LakeThe sea is not the only place to enjoy the romantic winter season. Pyeongtaekho Lake is a manmade salt water lake created when the Asan Bay breakwater was built. At the Pyeongtaekho Lake Tourist Park, visitors can cruise in the lake or stroll along the deck or cultural park. The lake invites you to a romantic winter filled with art, murals and music. No more water problem for the residents of Namhae-gun CountyNamhae-gun County and K-water is working together to solve the water problem in some parts of the region where toxic substances were found in the underground water. K-water set up an integrated management system and expanded the water supply to the area.
